McLaren 720S Stealth Theme
McLaren now offers a new equipment line for the supercar 720S via the MSO customization department (McLaren Special Operations). The Stealth Theme is inspired by the 1995 Le Mans winning car F1 GTR, whose ‘Sarthe Grey’ paint is combined here with accents in ‘Vermillion Red’. ‘Stealth’ was shown for the first time together with ‘Velocity’ as computer renderings during the world premiere of the 720S at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. But only now the first order for a 720S Stealth Theme came in from McLaren London.
From the front hood, red accent lines run along the lower side of the side windows to the rear, where they end near the air intake for the 720 hp strong engine. Further red lines are found on the lower, outer air inlets of the front bumper and on the outer edges of the alloy wheels, which also carry a red accent on one spoke each. For painting the red accents to the bodywork, almost 200 hours of work were spent. Behind the otherwise matte black ten-spoke rims are black brake calipers. In addition, various matte bare carbon details are used all around the body, for example on air inlets and outlets, the wing mirrors and the rear service flap.

Inside, black Alcantara is used, with central stripes on the seats, details on the door panels and a coating on the center console in red leather. The contrast stitching is also red. On the steering wheel and the dashboard are visible carbon accents, while behind the steering wheel longer shift paddles in carbon are mounted.
