Fifteen Eleven Design Porsche 914

Fifteen Eleven Design from Great Britain is launching a restomod of the Porsche 914. This means that a project designed on the computer actually ends up on the road. The goal here is to use modern technology to turn the often overlooked or derided 914 into a serious sports car in today’s traffic. For this purpose, Fifteen Eleven Design not only modifies parts of the body, but also installs a newer engine. The 3.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine from the Cayman S (987.2 series) is now at work directly behind the passengers. This provides 235 kW/320 hp and 370 newtonmeters of torque, which reach the rear wheels via a manual six-speed transmission. The floor assembly receives additional reinforcements.

914/6 GT on steroids

Visually, the Fifteen Eleven Design Porsche 914 picks up the fender flares that were originally available in the GT package for the 914/6. This allows for the installation of 18-inch wheels and thus a larger Brembo brake system and adjustable sport suspension. In addition to the wheel arches, the complete fenders are also widened, which makes the original doors look a bit inward. A spoiler lip and large LED daytime running lights are integrated into the redesigned front bumper. Fifteen Eleven Design also replaces the position lights and turn signals on the front edges of the fenders with LEDs. An oil cooler is flowed through new intake openings in the front and a wide exhaust opening in the front hood. The removable targa roof is available glazed as an option. A small spoiler lip sits on the rear trunk lid. In the low-volume production LHD and RHD cars will be available.

Fifteen Eleven Design is a subsidiary of Mellors Elliot Motorsport, a World Rally Championship team. In addition to the support and use of rally cars, more and more unique projects have been added in recent years. This has now led to the creation of a separate division to handle these customer requests. In recent years, Mellors Elliot Motorsport has already prepared a 1934 MG K3 Mille Miglia for the Goodwood Members Meeting. In addition, tuning measures were carried out on a Morris Traveller with a 1.3-liter racing engine, telescopic dampers, additional stabilizers and a completely red leather interior. A separate project based on a Ford Escort Mk 1 was a Speedster with a shortened wheelbase, V6 engine and five-speed transmission from Getrag.
