Techart GTstreet R Cabriolet
Techart and the Porsche 911 Turbo, this combination has been extreme and at the same time extremely good for 20 years. At that time, a tuning product called GTstreet debuted for the first time with increased performance and independently developed aerodynamic attachments. The basis for this was the 996 model generation. In the meantime, we are already three steps further and can find the 992 as Turbo and Turbo S in Porsche dealerships. In June of this year, Techart presented the new GTstreet R as a Coupé. Now the open Cabriolet is following suit. As with the Coupé, the conversion kit cosists of customized aerodynamic components made of carbon, a sports exhaust system and beautifully shaped forged wheels on a sports suspension with lowering by around 25 millimeters (sports springs) or up to 30 millimeters (coilover suspension). On request, there are also performance enhancements via the engine management software (package 1) and new turbochargers (package 2). A total of only 87 units of both body variants will be built.

The aerodynamic kit includes front and rear bumpers, widened fenders, a new front hood, side skirts and a new hood including an adjustable rear wing. In addition to improving downforce, these components also provide excellent airflow to the radiators and brakes. With the TA092/T1.1 performance kit, consisting of an auxiliary control unit, engine output increases by 44 kW/60 hp and by 100 Nm at the push of a button. In the TA092/T2.1 kit, new turbochargers combined with adapted engine and transmission software provide 785 hp and 950 Nm of torque (800 hp is possible in markets without GPF). This increases the topspeed to 217.5 mph. Owners of a Porsche 911 (992) Turbo or Turbo S Cabriolet can have the conversion to GTstreet R done at Techart for a minimum of € 63,000 net. Alternatively, individual complete vehicles can be ordered.
