David Brown Mini Remastered Marshall Edition
Every fan of loud electric guitars knows Marshall. The amplifier company from Great Britain has been producing high-quality components for musicians all over the world for 60 years. For the company’s anniversary, they teamed up with David Brown Automotive to create a special vehicle. Everything you love about the amplifiers can now be found in the Mini Remastered Marshall Edition. This special edition model is limited to 60 units worldwide. The iconic company colors of black and gold play a key role. For example, the body wears black paint but features gold-colored accents along the edge of the roof, the sills and on the specially designed grille with an amplifier-design mesh. The outer edges of the 12-inch Minilite wheels also show gold. Special brand logos round off the look.

83 hp engine
Even under the hood, minor modifications take place compared to the regular Mini Remastered. David Brown Automotive paints the cylinder head gold. In addition, the words “60 Years of Loud” can be found on a plaque below the oil filler neck. The 1.3-liter four-cylinder powerplant gets a power boost to 83 hp and 133 Nm of torque. Combined with the five-speed manual transmission, the Marshall Edition accelerates from a standstill to 62 mph in 8.9 seconds, with a topspeed of over 90 mph listed in the spec sheet. Front disc brakes and rear drum brakes ensure good deceleration values. In keeping with the color theme, the front brake calipers also feature a golden finish. As with the already known normal Mini Remastered, David Brown Automotive doesn’t change anything in the general dimensions of the classic. Only some details such as the roof gutter or some metal finishes on the outside are adapted to new looks, as are the lights.

Extensively equipped
Standard equipment for the limited Marshall Edition includes automatic climate control, electronic power steering, power windows, central locking and a Pioneer infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The surround sound system with eight speakers and the DSL1 combo amplifier, which is fully integrated in the trunk, are created together with Marshall. Next to it, a Marshall Emberton Bluetooth speaker is additionally tucked into a compartment. In the glove box is an exclusive box with the Marshall Motif A.N.C. wireless Bluetooth headphones. In addition, the 60 first owners of a Mini Remastered Marshall Edition receive a special key fob and a matching painted racing helmet with aviator goggles.

Various Marshall accents inside
As with the exterior, black and gold colors predominate inside. The black leather on the dashboard, trim panels and seats is stitched with gold-colored thread. Inspired by the controls on Marshall amplifiers, the knobs and switches on the dashboard feature a unique design. Play, Pause and Skip signs are engraved on the pedals. Special woven fabric adorns the door panels and other areas of the cockpit. The Marshall logo is embroidered into the backrests. The 60 examples of the Marshall Edition are available in either LHD or RHD configuration. David Brown Automotive has already received the first reservations. The special edition models will be delivered from the end of the year. For every vehicle sold, Marshall and David Brown Automotive will donate an undisclosed sum to the British charity organization Music Venue Trust.
