Aston Martin 007 Edition

Due to the Corona pandemic, the release of the 25th film from the James Bond series was delayed from spring to November 20 this year. To coincide with this date, Aston Martin is showing two new special edition models in the 007 Edition, as ‘No Time to Die’ will feature a total of four different models from the brand. In addition to the classic DB5, which has appeared in various Bond films since ‘Goldfinger’, the Aston Martin V8 from the 1980s, a DBS Superleggera and the brand new Valhalla will also be included. For the special edition models the British sports car manufacturer concentrates on the current Vantage and the DBS Superleggera. Both cars received their individual designs from Q by Aston Martin and will roll to dealerships from the first quarter of 2021.

Aston Martin Vantage 007 Edition

Inspired by the Aston Martin V8 from ‘The Living Daylights’ from 1985, Q by Aston Martin developed a special design option for the current Vantage. From the outside, the special model shows paint in ‘Cumberland Grey’, while the interior is finished in black leather and dark chrome. The 007 logo is emblazoned on the door sills, seat backs and center console, while under the lid of the central storage compartment, laser embossing is used to indicate the different buttons of the Q installments from the movie car. The sun visors are embroidered with the radio frequency 96.60 (FM), which James Bond uses in ‘The Living Daylights’ to eavesdrop on the Russian police. As a further reference to the 1987 film, the carbon fibre backs of the sports seats show motifs in the shape of the F-openings of cellos and the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel show cross-hair symbols. At the front is a chromed radiator grille and along the front spoiler, side skirts and diffuser are yellow accent stripes in the design of the hazard stripes on the rockets of the movie car. On request, customers can also get matching skis including roof rack for their car. They also have the choice between manual or automatic transmission. In total, only 100 copies of the Vantage 007 Edition will be produced.

Aston Martin DBS Superleggera 007 Edition

Matching one of the film vehicles from the upcoming James Bond adventure ‘No Time to Die’, Aston Martin is also releasing the 007 Edition of the DBS Superleggera. The 715 hp sports car has the color ‘Ceramic Grey’ in combination with the roof, exterior mirrors, front splitter, diffuser and the rear Aeroblade in black tinted carbon fibre. The wheel arches are fitted with 21-inch black alloy wheels in Y-spoke design, exclusively reserved for this special edition. On the front wings and rear spoiler are 007 logos, which are also found in the interior on door panels, center armrest and the cover of the subwoofer between the rear seats. Red decorative stitching provides visual accents in the otherwise completely black leather-lined interior. On the door sill panels, this special model not only indicates that it belongs to the 007 Edition, but also that there are only 25 of them in existence worldwide.
