Maserati F Tributo Special Edition

95 years ago, on April 25, 1926, the Tipo 26 was the first Maserati racing car to take to the starting line of an international event. With Alfieri Maserati at the wheel, this car took first place in the class up to 1.5-liters at the Targa Florio in Sicily. Almost 28 years later, Maserati made its debut in Formula 1, where it scored many victories with Juan Manuel Fangio, among others. To honor these victories and championships, the two special edition models Ghibli F Tributo and Levante F Tributo debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show. The F is a specific reminder of Fangio.

Both model series are available in the special edition only in the paint colors ‘Azzurro Tributo’ or ‘Rosso Tributo’. Red is reminiscent of the classic Italian racing color, while blue, along with yellow, is one of the city colors of Modena, where Maserati is at home. Accordingly, the brake calipers are always yellow. In front of them are 21-inch light-alloy wheels in Titano design on the Ghibli and in Anteo design on the Levante, each painted in glossy black with a yellow outer stripe. Above the side air outlets, a black ‘F Tributo’ lettering provides a visual reference to the special edition model. At the C-pillars you can find the Maserati logo in body color. Inside the car, yellow or red stitching is used for accents.
