Lunaz Aston Martin DB6 EV

After various Rolls-Royce and Land Rover models and other classics, Lunaz has now electrified an Aston Martin for the first time. The British company specifically chose the DB6. Alternatively, however, this conversion is also available to customers with the DB4 and DB5 models. Lunaz is limiting the number of conversions, as otherwise it will no longer be able to keep up with the work. The recently inaugurated workshop in the immediate vicinity of the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit is already bursting at the seams. Electric conversions of classic cars are currently very popular all over the world. Vehicles such as Range Rovers and large Rolls-Royce and Bentley saloons are particularly popular with Lunaz.

As with the other models, Lunaz also takes the same approach with the Aston Martin DB6. Vehicles delivered or purchased on behalf of a customer are completely disassembled and checked for their condition. This is followed by a professional restoration of all body and interior parts as well as the chassis. The engine and transmission are dry stored. They are replaced by customized batteries and a powerful electric motor. For this purpose, the empty body is 3D scanned to determine the size and shape of the battery pack. No details are yet available on the exact technical data for the DB6, as the first vehicle is still being built. However, the battery pack will be in the range of 80 to 120 kWh. The price for the Lunaz Aston Martin DB6 EV is over $ 1,000,000 plus local taxes. For the DB4 or DB5, prospective buyers will learn the price upon request. Lunaz expects the first finished vehicles in the third quarter of 2023.
