Lamborghini Miura of Little Tony

Do you know Little Tony? Then you probably like to hear Italian music of the 1960s. At that time, Little Tony was one of the most successful Italian singers. His real name was Antonio Ciacci, born in Tivoli near Rome, but a citizen of San Marino throughout his life. There he also took over the keys to his Lamborghini Miura P400 S with chassis number 4797 on March 2, 1971. This car showed a light blue paintwork called Azzurro Mexico, a color only ever used on six Miura. In 1973, Little Tony registered this sports car in Rome. Over the years, the singer owned two more Miura. Some more owners followed until this sports car was finally restored on behalf of its current owner, an Italian car collector, with the help of Lamborghini Polo Storico.

At this point, Polo Storico not only could provide original spare parts through the nearest official Lamborghini dealer, but also information on what was needed to be done and in which order. Also they provided excerpts from the works’ archive informing about the original delivery status and all options fitted to the car from factory. However, it was important for the car’s owner and the involved workshop to keep as much of the original substance of this Miura as possible. After the work was completed successful, Polo Storico certified the authenticity and condition of this car. Last weekend this Miura P400 S took part in the Concorso d’Eleganza at the Villa d’Este in the category ‘Baby You Can Drive My Car: The Cars of the Stars’.
