Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition

Individuality enjoys a high value among owners of supercars. For this reason, many manufacturers of luxury vehicles maintain their own departments that deal exclusively with special requests from their solvent clientele. At Lamborghini, this department has been called Ad Personam since 2013 and now provides special services for around 50 percent of the new cars. Presumably also triggered by the Corona pandemic, the sports car manufacturer from Sant’Agata now provides a virtual configuration program with which it hopes to reach even more customers. For this purpose, two-hour appointments can be booked through the responsible dealer, which will take place either from the showroom or another location. An expert in Italy is on hand by video call, so to speak, to read the customer’s wishes from their eyes. All options from the Ad Personam program can be displayed on the screen to show the desired vehicle as accurately as possible in advance. After the configuration has been completed, the customer is sent detailed views of the vehicle and material samples in the desired colors for final acceptance. Lamborghini expects around 150 virtual configurations at the Ad Personam studio this year.

To celebrate the launch of the virtual Ad Personam studio, Lamborghini is presenting the limited Xago Edition based on the Aventador SVJ with its 770-hp V12 engine. Only ten copies will be produced for customers who wish to configure their SVJ as a Coupé or Roadster online. The Xago Edition got its name from the hexagonal cloud formations at the north pole of Saturn. Corresponding shapes can be found as a fading effect in silver on the sides of the sports car and as a color contrast on the seats and the rear wall between the seat backs. Black lacquered alloy rims in ‘Nireo’ design fill the wheel arches. A numbered metal badge is located in the front left window triangle.
