Aston Martin and Girard-Perregaux

Under new management, new collaborations are also beginning at Aston Martin. After Porsche recently announced a close partnership with TAG Heuer, the British sports car brand is now following suit. The Swiss watch manufacturer Girard-Perregaux will produce limited-edition wristwatches and chronographs in the near future. In addition, the brand logo will appear on the Aston Martin Formula 1 racing cars. Both companies look back on a long brand history. Aston Martin was founded in 1913, Girard-Perregaux back in 1791. In 1867, the now famous among collectors Tourbillon ‘with three bridges’ was created. This watch allowed to see three previously hidden technical details of the movement.

The first special watch model from this new collaboration are scheduled to debut later this year. In the 230-year history of the brand, Girard-Perregaux’s in-house designers have already played with various shapes and colors. So we can look forward to seeing what they come up with for this collaboration. It’s possible that, in addition to matching watches for the productions sports cars, models for fans of the Aston Martin Formula 1 team will also be released.
