TW Steel Damon Hill Canteen LE TW1018

25 years ago, British racing driver Damon Hill achieved the greatest success of his career. He won the Formula 1 World Championship with his Williams FW18 Renault. In the two years before that, he was already one of the closest favorites for the title. Together with the Dutch watch manufacturer TW Steel, a limited edition wristwatch dedicated to this world championship title is now being created. TW Steel has been founded in 2005, but has been delighting watch fans all over the world ever since. Inside the limited edition TW1018 Damon Hill is a Swiss Ronda Z60 chronograph movement, which drives not only the three main hands, but also three smaller subsidiary displays. Thus, the wristwatch displays the day of the week, as well as seconds and tenths of seconds of the stopwatch function in the lower and right fields.

TW Steel houses the chronograph in a titanium case measuring 46 millimeters in diameter with a rose gold tachymeter bezel. The bezel also features dark blue details, which can also be found on the white dial. It is located behind an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The leather strap is dark blue on the outside and white on the inside and at the seams. The color scheme of the Williams FW18 has been specifically adopted. In addition to technical details such as the maximum diving depth of 100 meters, the case back is engraved with Damon Hill’s autograph and the consecutive limitation number of the 1,000 pieces. In addition, TW Steel offers the option to have your own short text engraved. Each TW Steel Damon Hill Canteen Limited Edition TW1018 costs € 549 including shipping.
