Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25

When Manthey-Racing GmbH was founded 25 years ago as a racing team in Meuspath near the Nürburgring, no one could have foreseen where the journey would lead. Company founder Olaf Manthey brought a lot of experience from his time as a racing driver, for example in the Porsche Carrera Cup and the DTM. With his team, he focused in particular on racing Porsche models on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. In 2013, the sports car brand from Stuttgart Zuffenhausen entered the company and eventually took over 100 percent of it. Today, Manthey-Racing GmbH is a subsidiary of Porsche AG and, together with the racing department in Weissach, is responsible for the development of racing parts and the particularly sporty road models. To mark the company’s 25th anniversary, the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 is now making its debut as an exclusive special model for ambitious amateur racers. A total of only 30 units will be built.

The 911 (991.2) GT2 RS Clubsport serves as the basis. At the rear is the familiar six-cylinder turbocharged engine, which here transmits an output of 515 kW/700 hp to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. For the design, the team drew on elements from both familiar and soon-to-be-launched Porsche race cars. The source of inspiration was the green-yellow 911 (991.2) GT3 R, which Manthey uses as the “Grello” in the NLS racing series. Accents in this hue can be found in various places. This applies, for example, to the 18-inch alloy wheels adopted from the 935. The front bumper, side air intakes, rear bumper and rear wing feature a new design compared to the well-known 911 GT2 RS Clubsport presented in 2019. A limitation badge on the dashboard shows the respective vehicle number. The price per unit is € 525,000 plus country-specific taxes.
