McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection

Nearly unrecognized by most journalists the new Black Collection of the McLaren 570GT debuted during Geneva International Motorshow. The British manufacturer shows a new limited edition of the grand tourer, this time in noble black.

Within the standard equipment of the Black Collection are some details from MSO department (McLaren Special Operations) like the paintwork in ‘MSO Bespoke Carbon Black’ combined with new ‘MSO Defined Black Pack’ instead of normal Dark Palladium at inner door panels, air intakes, sills, front spoiler and diffusor. Even the exhaust tips of the titanium sports exhaust are black as are the brake calipers. The allow wheels show black spokes and diamond polished parts.

On the inside the sports seats are electric and heatable, upholstered with black semi-aniline leather and stitched MSO logos on the headrests. Middle tunnel, lower dashboard, the frames around the speakers, steering-wheel and roof liner show black suede.

Standard equipment also shows carbon ceramic brake discs, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and the ‘Sport Dynamic Handling Pack’ including the steering system of the 570S. The car also gets a darkened panoramic roof or as an option the ‘Electrochromic Panorama Roof’ which has five different settings to let natural light into the cockpit. A lift system for the front axle, an audio system from Bowers & Wilkins with 12 speakers, a rear-view camera and an electrical steering column are standard within the Black Collection. The driver also gets a key in exclusive ‘Carbon Black’.
