Manthey Porsche 911 (992) GT3 MR
Racing fans know Manthey Racing primarily from the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS, formerly VLN). There, the team, which is based in the immediate vicinity of the Nordschleife in Meuspath, has been using Porsche race cars for many years. Seven overall victories in the 24-hour race and the world championship title in the 2018/2019 FIA WEC Super Season speak for themselves. A few years ago, company founder Olaf Manthey handed over his team the brothers Martin and Nicolas Raeder, who in turn sold 51 percent to Porsche AG. As a partner for development services in the field of engineering, they also offer conversions for cars of private customers in addition to their racing program. The latest kit is now debuting for the Porsche 911 (992) GT3. Only a few companies dare to re-tune the GT models from Zuffenhausen and Weissach.

In fact, Manthey-Racing knows very well which levers to pull to improve the GT3. In addition to aerodynamics, they are also tackling the chassis, the brakes and the wheels. As with the 911 (991) GT3 RS and 911 (991) GT2 RS, an important development goal was to maintain everyday usability in addition to improved racetrack performance. To this end, a four-way adjustable suspension, a brake upgrade with new pads and steel braided lines, and a lightweight wheel set in OM-1 design were developed. Aerodiscs are fitted to the rear wheels. On the bodywork, there is a new front lip with splitter, flics mounted on the side of the front bumper, a rear wing with larger carbon side panels and an enlarged rear diffuser with vertical fins. All modifications have already been tried out in detail during test drives on the Nordschleife. The factory warranty remains fully intact. The kit will be available from the second quarter of 2022.
