Lynk & Co 03+ Cyan Edition

Lynk & Co is a rather unknown car manufacturer in Europe so far. The young Chinese brand appears at best in the FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR). There, the Cyan Racing factory team operates the 03 mid-size sedan converted into a racing car, using the blue and yellow color combination once familiar from the Volvo factory racing team. This is easy to explain, since Lynk & Co, like Volvo, is a subsidiary brand of the Chinese Geely Group. Cyan Racing was called Polestar until a few years ago. When the tuning and motorsport activities were put on their own feet and Polestar was elevated to an independent electric car manufacturer, Cyan was founded.

To celebrate the two previous manufacturer world championship titles and one driver’s title of the Lynk & Co 03 in the WTCR in a worthy manner, the Chinese brand now presents the 03+ Cyan Edition. This sedan wears the characteristic light blue of the racing car in combination with a black contrasting roof. The alloy wheels are also black, while yellow brake calipers show through behind them. The braking system comes from Akebono, the tires from Michelin (Pilot Sport 4S). There’s also a sports suspension from Bilstein, as well as a front splitter and an adjustable rear wing made of carbon fiber. The Cyan logo is embroidered into the front sports seats. In addition, the factory tuner increased the engine power to 265 hp and 380 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, the limited edition model will only be available on the Chinese market.
