Lego Vespa 125
Lego has been offering larger sets of design classics from the automotive sector for several years. Be it the Volkswagen T1, Mini Cooper, Ferrari F40, Fiat 500 or Porsche 911, these brick models regularly find buyers. After the first foray into the motorcycle sector with a Harley-Davidson in 2020, a true legend is now following. From the mid-1940s, the Piaggio Vespa enjoyed great popularity not only in its Italian homeland, but throughout Europe. Today it is known all over the world. As a 125, it is ideally equipped for metropolises and inner-city operations, but is also suitable for longer distances. Lego implemented a Vespa from the 1960s. The light pastel pale blue shade is just as perfect as the characteristic shape.

Interesting is the license plate in the style of old Italian registrations from the 1960s with a reference to the patent date of the original Vespa, April 23, 1946. Of course, the engine cover can be removed, just like on the original scooter. It gives a clear view of the simulated single-cylinder engine. The front wheel can be controlled via the handlebar. Below it, there is a spare wheel cover and behind the seats there is a cargo box with flowers. In order to be able to place the Vespa decoratively in a showcase, there is a kickstand under the simulated foot area. The scope of delivery also includes a white helmet with brown chin strap and aviator goggles. The Vespa 125 is available from today under the model number 10298 at a price of 99.99 €. Of course, the 1,106 individual parts have to be assembled by hand.
