Jacob & Co. Twin Turbo Furious 300+

Bugatti and the watch manufacturer Jacob & Co. present the Twin Turbo Furious 300+, the second wristwatch in their still relatively young collaboration. This accessory pays tribute to the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ presented last year, which is the first production car to reach a topspeed of more than 300 mph. Former Le Mans winner Andy Wallace drove the pre-series prototype at 304.773 mph (490.484 kph) over the long straight of Volkswagen’s test track in Ehra-Lessien in Germany.

Jacob & Co. now transferred the essence of this car to the wristwatch with a double three-axle tourbillon movement made of black titanium. A tourbillon ensures that the effects of gravity are translated into movement of the hands. This special component, which elevates the watch to the top level of the watch world, is present twice in the Twin Turbo Furious 300+. The movement contains a single-pusher chronograph with reference time and a decimal minute repeater. On the outside, it is surrounded by a special case made of forged carbon and black DLC titanium, which matches the color scheme of the Chiron’s visible carbon bodywork. If required, an acoustic signal can be activated that sounds at ten-minute intervals. In total, only three examples of this exclusive wristwatch are being produced. Neither Bugatti nor Jacob & Co. have given any information on the price.
