Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon

Just in time for Christmas, Bugatti and watch company Jacob & Co. present four new variants of the wristwatch ‘Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon’. This model debuted in April 2020 and features various inspirations from the W16 engine of the Bugatti Chiron supercar. The stunning movement under the sapphire crystal consists of 578 individual parts each and includes a miniature of the engine block. This can be set in motion by pressing the right crown. The movement is driven by a flying tourbillon with a 30-degree inclination.

New materials for new versions

For the new versions, Jacob & Co. uses new materials. The first option adds new touches with solid sapphire crystal on the caseback, crowns and buttons. A rubber strap with titanium buckle ensures a good fit on the wrist. Alternatively, the sapphire crystal version is also available in blue with a blue strap. Variant two comes with an 18-carat rose gold case, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, transparent case back, and crown and buttons in black DLC titanium. On the rubber strap, there is a buckle made of 18-carat rose gold and DLC titanium. This model is limited to 72 pieces worldwide.

Version number three also gets a case made of rose gold, which is additionally set with sparkling white diamonds. The case back, crowns and buttons are also made of 18-carat rose gold, with additional white baguette diamonds and stamped Bugatti logos. More white diamonds sit on the rose gold clasp of the rubber bracelet. This variant is available only 52 times. The fourth new tourbillon gets a case made of 18-carat white gold, in which 391 white and black diamonds are set. These have a combined weight of around 20 carats. The crowns and buttons are also set with white diamonds. So is the white gold clasp of the bracelet.
