IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition AMG

Mercedes-AMG and the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen have been woking together since 2004. The pursuit of technical perfection and unconditional quality unites the two companies. Their latest joint product is the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph in the Edition AMG. IWC has integrated materials from the automotive industry into the watch. The case, for example, is made of extremely light and scratch-resistant titanium in a matte grey reminiscent of the AMG paint color ‘Selenite grey magno’. This is complemented by an exposed carbon dial with silver subdials, whose appearance is reminiscent of round instruments from motorsport.

The 43-millimeter case houses an IWC manufacture caliber 69835, which enables stopwatch time measurements of up to 12 hours. It also has a 46-hour power reserve. The chronograph functions can be controlled via a complex column wheel with two functional levels. IWC uses tinted sapphire crystal for the case back. The AMG logo and the inscription “International Watch Company – Pilot’s Chronograph – Edition AMG” are printed on it. A black, embossed calfskin strap with a folding clasp and contrasting white stitching expertly completes this wristwatch. The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition AMG is available immediatelyfrom well-stocked specialist watch retailers at a price of € 9,800.
