Davosa Newton Speedometer

With the new Newton Speedometer, the Swiss watch manufacturer Davosa presents a wristwatch for car fans. Inspired by the 1950s and 60s, the European period of the economic miracle, this watch represents prosperity, departure and adventure. With its clear graphics, it fits well in the cockpits of classic sports cars or grand tourers. What makes it special is the absence of classic hands. Instead, a red arrow marker on the dial displays the hour in a small window. The single hand points to the minute. Above it, a red line on a round disk points in the direction of the current second.

Davosa offers the Newton Speedometer in either black with white lettering or grey and black with yellow-green lettering. The rough leather strap matches the color of the watch. In the dark, the numbers glow either bluish or in bright green. The transparent case back allows a view of the DAV 3032 automatic movement. Matte and shiny stainless steel sections are used for the rest of the case. In front sits scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. In the conical crown, you’ll find the Davosa star. Both color variants are available from retailers for 998 € each.
