Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport on dealer tour

In the absence of major motor shows, Bugatti sent its latest models on a European dealer tour that ended in Düsseldorf. Among the factory cars were a demonstration car of the Chiron Pur Sport, a Chiron Sport and a Chiron Sport Les Légendes du Ciel. They were joined by two Chiron and a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse from Bugatti Düsseldorf’s range of used cars. At times, then, almost 9,000 horsepower stood under the spring sun, delighting not only photographers but also random passers-by.

Actually, the factory demonstrators were to be used for customer test drives and a photo tour of the nearby Ruhr area. Similar events with these cars had previously taken place in Paris and Hamburg, for example. However, due to the current development of the Corona pandemic, the planned dates in the Rhineland had to be cancelled. The other stops on the dealer tour als didn’t take place. All three Chiron went from Düsseldorf directly back to the factory in Molsheim. Too bad for fans of the brand in Frankfurt, Munich and Switzerland. However, perhaps the cars will appear there at a later date.

We were particularly interested in the details on the Chiron Sport Les Légendes du Ciel, which look completely different in person than in pictures. This applies both to the paint in the matte color ‘Gris Serpent’ with white longitudinal stripe, and to the interior. The door panels feature hand-painted motifs of a Bugatti Type 13 and the Nieuport 17 airplane. Bugatti Düsseldorf, headed by Guido Graf von Spee and Andreas Stirn, is looking forward to delivering a few examples of the Les Légendes du Ciel and the Chiron Pur Sport to waiting customers.
